Located 2 km from Fira, Nautilus Dome Suites is built on the side of the caldera and features a pool surrounded by a wooden deck with sun loungers and umbrellas. Nautilus is a great hotel, we just loved our stay in there. The bedroom is great, the shower is the excellent and they serve the breakfast on the rooms. It’s lovely and very comfortable. The location is very good too, because it is not in the center of Fira, so it’s not in the middle of the chaos, but at the same time, it is very close to get there and the hotel offers rides to go and to come back from Fira’s center. But the best about Nautilus is its people! Greek people are very kind, but at Nautilus they are the best. We’ve been very well threaten by Marcos (he is so nice!!!) and all the team! Very gentle and always willing to help. They gave us the best island itinerary tips that made our vacation even better. We are very grateful to them and happy for choosing Nautilus to our stay in Santorini 😊

Pyrgos which was the capital of Santorini is a pretty village with character and some great food options. While the sunset from OIA is justifiably famous, we found the sunset view from the Pyrgos castle (15 mins walk from Elessa) to be stunning too .. Mike who works with Elessa to handle transport is very dependable and friendly … he has been six sigma in terms of ensuring we get picked up and dropped off on time everytime. We had the villa with hot pool and we throughly enjoyed our time at Elessa. Breakfast is very good too and wirh multiple freshly cooked options. Overall a lovely experience and we look forward to being back :)

Thank you to Markella for the welcome and advice, the bar/ restaurant staff for the professional service and the chef for his fantastic food. The housekeeping team are all so friendly and prompt. Particular mention for Christina who kindly checked in with me every day, offering great advice and tips on the island. She helped me rent a car and organised a boat trip and my transfers for the airport. Divino Caldera is a very special hotel and I would highly recommend it for a break.
